It’s a few days before Christmas and what noises abound
sneezing and coughing from all around.
Baby is honking like a baby seal
GiGi is wheezing and needs to chill
Mommy says no more can get sick
She just won’t have it not one little bit

There are too many things that need to get done
the wrapping, the baking, all the work for just one
Is too much to handle with people ailing
She’s trying to keep up but seems to be failing
Determined to get everything finished and complete
She will work all night to make things neat.

So suck it up family and take your meds
Get a good night sleep and then out of your beds
You’ve only got one night to get some rest
And then up and at em and doing your best
It’s time for Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
So have fun and enjoy the days of good Cheer.
